Lincoln Jopp MC MP has represented Spelthorne in Parliament since July 2024. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career in the British Army, where he served in multiple conflict zones, including Northern Ireland, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
In recognition of his bravery, he was awarded the Military Cross (MC) for his gallant and distinguished service during the Sierra Leone conflict in May-June 1997. He also commanded the Scots Guards in Afghanistan during the summer of 2010, earning the Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service.
After retiring from the military, Lincoln transitioned to civilian life, becoming the Director and Chief Operating Officer of The Pension SuperFund.
He lives in Sunbury, within the Spelthorne constituency, with his wife Caroline and their three children.
