Listed Places of Worship

I was delighted to speak at the Westminster Hall debate on the continuation of the Listed Places of Worship Scheme. 

Churches and other religious sites in Spelthorne are vital beacons in our community, not just for religious worship but they’re a hub for local support. 

My own church St Mary’s in Sunbury is a beautiful Grade II listed Church. 

I’m happy to hear that Labour have extended the scheme to 2026, I am, however, disappointed that have cut funding for the scheme. Upholding our heritage is incredibly important.
